In 2000, ARC visited 128,812 foreign tourists traveled abroad, 4,056 people - citizens of Ukraine. By purpose and age, visiting tourists were as follows:

Subjects tourism ARC serve 34.1% of foreign tourists arriving in Ukraine, and 1,4% of tourists from Ukraine and traveling abroad. Number of travel agencies operating in the field of foreign tourism and international tourism - 208. The structure of the implementation of tourism services in the ARC foreign tourism is 31%, foreign tourism - 0,8%, home - 68,2% (in 1996 - 29%, 36% and 35% respectively).

basic share for the reception of foreign tourists in Crimea occupy hotels - 37%, followed by the camp site - 22%, and recreation - 16%, and resorts with the treatment - 13,8%, private placements - 9,7%. The dynamics of relationships and outbound tourism in the Crimea in 2000 had a positive balance (124,756 people). That in 3,8 times more than 1996 (32,711). The main partners of the ARC in trade in tourism services are: export of services - Russia (71%), Germany (2%), Belarus (13%), Turkey (2%), and imports of services - Turkey (52%), Israel (15 %), Poland (8%), UAE (5 %).
